Good News Story about a Dog!

The following story was on The Good News Network a few days ago...
I was a young mother living with my husband, my young son and my cat in New York City. When you live in New York City, since you cannot go out in the backyard, you take the baby’s stroller, put in all the things you might need (diapers, wipes, hats, sunscreen, juice etc.), and you load up the stroller and ride down the elevator from your high-rise apartment. You then stagger to the street pushing your heavy stroller as you slowly make your way to the park – or in my case, Central Park.
In Central Park, you go to the playground and sit with the other mothers (and the lone father or two) as all the children play.
(As Paul Harvey used to say, now for the rest of the story.....(click here)

Grunts In The Sky

In November 2011 I saw a demonstration on the wonderful A-10 “Warthog” at Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas.  What an amazing aircraft!

Our friend Silas Baron sent me this link (below) to a YouTube video about the A-10.  I hope you enjoy it.

A Little Russian Road Rage (Маленькая русская дорожная ярость)

Our friend George Drago sent this to me over the weekend.  I don't know if this incident was spontaneous or if it was a set-up.  Regardless, it's pretty funny.  Click below and Enjoy!

The Honor Roll

Our friend Bill McNease (former 225th Phantomhawk Mohawk driver) wrote me over the weekend and asked if I would put the following note in The 225th Observer: “I have written a book, The Honor Roll, about the 73 that were killed while operating in Vietnam.  Do not buy it on Amazon as the formatting was no good.  I will send anyone a free electronic copy.”  He said to just let him know at billmcnease@gmail.com.

I saw a draft of The Honor Roll at the 2014 Dallas Reunion, and I thought it was a wonderful tribute to our brothers who gave the supreme sacrifice in the service of our country.   I recommend it to you!
