First, let me wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! The picture above is of the front of the menu of our 1968 feast at Phu Hiep fifty-one years ago. As I remember it, we had turkey and all the fixings. And, in the tradition of the military, it was very good too!
Second, I apologize for the hiatus I’ve taken since the end of June, but here I am again, still well and taking nourishment and the occasional dark beer or really pretty red vino. It’s been a very busy summer and early fall. I’ll add some more thoughts/stories in the next weeks.
By the time most of you get this you will probably have eaten way tooooooo much, and are watching a football game! Have fun with your family and friends!
